Room Darkening Roller Shades
Room Darkening roller shades come in a variety of patterns, textures and colors. These choices allow varying amounts of light to enter a room ranging up to blackout fabrics that do not allow any light to penetrate the fabric itself.
One of the challenges with any roller shade are the side light gaps that appear because the shade fabric does not extend to the edge of the roller. So while a fabric may be room darkening, these inherent light gaps must be taken into account. To cover the gaps we recommend the use of our Light Guard blocking system. The system consists of side channels available in wood or aluminum and a top channel that fits neatly behind the shade.
